Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Submission Contents

Manuscript submissions will be collected through a submission form link. The form will ask for:

  • Author's name;

  • Preferred name, if different;

  • Contact email/number;

  • Manuscript title;

  • Short abstract or description;

  • Manuscript condition:

  1. Finished or unfinished;

  2. Edited or unedited;

  3. Previously self-published, posted, or unpublished;

  • Any notes the author wants to leave for Eulogy.

Review And Production Timeline

For accepted manuscripts, we will contact the author to discuss the project, production needs, timeline, and possible collaboration structure.

Initial editing and proofreading usually take between 1-3 months, depending on the length and condition of the manuscript.

Estimated timeline:

  • around 1 month for a manuscript of approximately 100 pages;

  • 3 months or more for a manuscript of 100-500 pages.

This timeline may change depending on the amount of editing, design work, proofreading, and production coordination required.

Production Support

Eulogy provides editorial and design support for selected manuscripts. This may include:

  • editing;

  • proofreading;

  • design direction;

  • typesetting / layout;

  • print coordination;

  • quality review during printing;

  • website listing;

  • online store listing;

  • social media promotion where appropriate.

Printing is completed through with collaborating printshop. Eulogy staff will be present or involved during the printing process to help ensure quality.

Collaboration Structures

If Eulogy decides to move forward with a manuscript, we will contact the author to discuss the project in more detail before any agreement is made.

Because each manuscript requires a different level of editing, design, production, printing, and distribution support, collaboration terms are decided case by case. Eulogy will consider the manuscript's fit with the house, production cost, expected timeline, sales risk, and the author's goals for the project.

No production or publishing agreement begins until both Eulogy and the author have reviewed and agreed to the terms in writing.
